Songless Bird

If you were given a songless bird, could you still love it?

I have just lost the one person i really need. My boyfriend just ended our relationship, and the whole in me that has been partially filled, has just torn open again. Freyed by lack of sleep, and lonliness i ask myself if there is anyone out there who could love this songless bird. I thought i answere was yes, but apparently not.
